Tuesday Thrift Find: Update your Wardrobe for Less

Don’t you just love a great find!?

So, a couple of weeks ago I was on the hunt for an outfit to wear at a friend’s wedding. It was so last minute for me, normally I would have had something picked out way before the day. At this time, I had so much going on so I stopped at the Goodwill near the church of the wedding and found this really cute stripe shirt dress! This dress still had original tags on it, and it is from Romeo + Juliet and the original price was $140.00. I bought this for just $8.00! Romeo+Juliet clothing is no longer around but supposedly a Gossip Girl inspiration collection. I paired this dress with my Jessica Simpson shoes and my Dior tote bag I made from The Totery. A whole sustainable wardrobe, I love it when I can save money and help the planet in some way.

I found this cute skirt & handbag while traveling with my husband. We decided to stop at Plato’s Closet in Sylvania, Ohio. I love that store, I use to shop at Plato’s Closet all the time in my early twenties. I would find the cutest outfits for like $20 and people would ask me all the time where I shopped at. An old friend of mines even gave me a nickname, “Plato’s Girl”. I love this suede skirt with gold decor down the trim. The purse has gold on it too and it was perfect for this look. I found this cute top on Poshmark. I spent less than $20 for the entire outfit (minus the shoes, I already had those).

I also found this cute skirt and bodysuit at Plato’s Closet. Just so happen that they had a metallic bodysuit and this cute sparkly glitter skirt all in one place. Now, I don’t know if this is how they came in or from two separate owners, but I do feel like I had a lucky thrift find day.
