Hi Glam Dolls! In today’s post, I want to speak on something different, my skincare routine. We hear a lot about skincare and how it is important to keep a routine if you want to preserve the good look and the first signs of agings.
My skincare routine is both a day and a night one because I want to keep my face cleansed. These routines are nothing complex, you can use as many products as you like, that are suitable for your skin type. My skin, personally, is quite mixed. There are places where it shows signs of oiliness, dryness, and even the combination of them both. I also have eczema on my eyelids, so they are very sensitive to products and I have to be careful about which products I use to avoid irritation. I’ve been doing this routine for about two months now and my eyes have cleared up and had no irritation.
Regularly, the three main steps of every skincare routine and cleansing, toning and moisturizing. Below is my skincare routine, these products are very hydrating to my skin and leaves my skin awakened toned, and glowing, and even reduced the dark tone on my eyelids.
Step 1 – Cleansing
I start with washing my face with the Biore Blue Agave + Baking Soda Pore Cleanser. This one is for combination skin, and it feels great on my face. It is washing gel. I use it constantly, with circular movements using my Luna Play Facial Cleanser & Massager, washing and rinsing my face thoroughly.
Step 2 – Lips
Many women skip the lips. However, I include them in my skincare routine. I like my lips looking full and luscious and that is why I use the Sephora, NCLA 100% Natural, Vegan Sugar, Sugar Lip Scrub. I take a bit and scrub my lips with it. It is absolutely fantastic.
Step 3 – Detox
I like to use this Soo’AE Unicorn Glow Detox & Brightening Hologram Mask. I don’t use it every single day, more like one to two times a week. It is very soothing on the skin. For greater effects, I like to do a skin massage with my jade roller over the mask. It really does the trick.
Step 4 – Toner
For toning and hydration, I love to use Bliss What A Melon™ Replenishing Watermelon Skin Toner. I apply this on my face with a face cotton pad. Watermelon extract replenishes lost vitamins and minerals while preventing dehydration and water loss. A pore-tightening effect from witch hazel, a natural astringent, leaves skin feeling supple and shine-free. Soothing, alcohol-free toner refreshes, nourishes, and balances; instantly restore moisture and nourishment to dry, depleted skin. A gentle, refreshing formula respects skin’s natural balance and helps protect against free radical damage. Ideal for combination skin, this detoxifying formula helps eliminate toxins and dead cells. This product also has the ingredients, hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, and willow bark.
Step 5 – Sunscreen
It is very important to protect our skin and the best way to do that is by applying SPF. It is usually known as a summer skincare product, but for me, I like to wear sunscreen all year long. If you haven’t begun to apply sunscreen to your everyday routine, you need to begin now! Our melanin needs SPF since everyone is liable to harms brought about by the sun. For people who have mixed or dark skin, Dermatologists recommend using SPF 15 to 30. I like to apply Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare All-Physical Lightweight Wrinkle Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen, SPF 30. An oil-free, all-physical sunscreen that blends into all skin tones and contains transparent zinc oxide and antioxidants for safe, high-performance SPF protection that visibly minimizes fine lines and wrinkles.
Step 6 – Moisturizing
Hydration and moisturizing the skin are the final step in the face skin routine. For optimal hydration, my choice is Bliss Rose Gold Rescue™ Face Cream with Rose Water. It is both calming, soothing, and moisturizing and it gives my skin fabulous radiance. This product is for sensitive skin, it is fragrance-free, clean and cruelty-free, paraben-free, and vegan. When it comes to my face, I have tried many products to get my skin clear and some lotions cause my eczema to flare up or irritates my skin. I’ve tried Aquaphor, Eucerin, vaseline, cocoa buttercream, none of those worked for my face. My body yes, but face a definite no. My eyes would still be dry after the cream dries, and I found myself needing to re-apply at least three times throughout the day. Bliss Face Cream with Rose Water is so far my favorite moisturizer and the only moisturizer that works really well on my face.
I don’t forget my body too. After showering, my go-to product is Watermelon Glow AHA Pink Dream Body Cream – Glow Recipe. I apply it all over and let it soak in for 3-4 minutes before I dress up. This is also a great product to apply to your face as well.
My Night Time Routine:
Before bed, it is normally time for me to remove my false lashes and remove my makeup. I use Bliss Makeup Melt™ Jelly Facial Cleanser. Suitable on dry or wet skin, super-gentle with soothing rose flower. It is also paraben-free and cruelty-free. I use face cotton pads with a small amount and gently wipe off my makeup. If I wore false lashes, I like to use Earth Science, Makeup Remover Eye Chamomile Green Tea. It gently cleanses my eyeshadow and gets lash glue off pretty easily. After I remove my makeup I just repeat steps one through six, minus using the face mask.
I hope you liked my routine and find this helpful! Which one of these products will you be using?

I haven’t tried these products yet, but I’d love to! I use a different Foreo Luna product and I love it as well. Makes my skin feel so nice.
I’ll have to check that out as well! Hope you like them!
Oooh, looks like I have some shopping to do!
That’s true, it’s really important to take care of our skin and use a great skin care routine, also because we aren’t able to buy another skin so is much better keep it at its best as long as possible.
Great post!
